Kyle Bay’s waterfront dining room is back, this time with souvlakia, tsipouro, and the casual charm of a Greek island bar.
After months of renovations, Jaaks has reopened on the shores of Kyle Bay, swapping its fine-dining credentials for the laid-back warmth of a Greek mezedopolio, a bar built for sharing small plates, sipping ouzo, and staying long into the night.
Quick Bites
EAT: Mini souvlakia skewers straight off the hibachi grill, pork belly, ox tongue, or even haloumi and cabbage if you’re veg-curious.
DRINK: An Ouzotini: the coastal cousin of a martini, or a Lemonada with homemade Greek-style lemonade.
PLAY: Take a sunset stroll along the Georges River foreshore or head to Lugarno Seafood Restaurant nearby for dessert wine and something sweet.
VIBE CHECK: A breezy, modern mezedopolio with the soul of a Greek island taverna.
