Lilly’s Bar Brookvale is a dimly lit cocktail bar sitting inside Manly Spirits Distillery on Winbourne Road, where the drinks are made on-site and the weekend starts Thursday. From the barrel-lined room to the party-lit gin garden, it moves from relaxed afternoon drinks into house-leaning DJ sets, aperitivo nights and live music without ever feeling forced.
The weekly programme gives you three good reasons to show up. Dirty Thursdays runs every Thursday from 5-11pm with $12 margaritas and martinis alongside sexy disco and jazzy grooves from DJ Lili Joy and friends. Aperitivo Fridays offers a complimentary Italian aperitivo spread from 5-7:30pm before the room transforms into an all-night disco until midnight. Spritz Sundays keeps things family-friendly from 2-8pm with $12 spritzes all day and dub, reggae and funk on the decks. The spirits in your glass are distilled in the same building, which makes the drinks taste even better.
