Sahtein, Beirut-style Lebanese dining comes to The Rocks
Sahtein The Rocks is a Beirut-style Lebanese restaurant now open in the former home of The Dining Room at The Collective, bringing charcoal-fired cooking, generous mezze and the warm hospitality of a Beirut table to Sydney's most historic precinct.
Executive Chef Mike Flood leads a kitchen built around bold flavours and share-style plates designed for communal dining. Hot and cold mezze arrive alongside grilled meats and seafood cooked over wood fire and charcoal, with dishes served as they're ready rather than in courses. It's the kind of place that rewards a relaxed approach, arriving without a plan and letting the kitchen take you through it. The historic Rocks setting adds something extra, with the sandstone backdrop lending the room a warmth that suits the food perfectly.
