To mark Loulou Bistro, Boulangerie, and Traiteur’s 1st birthday this month, Loulou's Boulangerie will be selling its lusciously buttery and flaky croissants for just $1. For those that are yet to discover the lower north shore’s French quarters at Lavender Bay, this is the perfect opportunity to see what all the fuss is about. As well as quite possibly Sydney’s best croissant, the boulangerie is serving up fresh artisanal baguettes, batards and delicious sweet treats for shoppers to take home a festive haul just in time for Christmas. Bendon Woodward is the lead baker (Chouquette Boulangerie, Bread Ahead Bakery London) ensuring nothing is ever more than a few hours old - not a hard task considering how fast these babies fly off the shelf. The first 500 are expected to sell out by early arvo so don’t dawdle if you’d like to score a sweet deal.

For those that can’t make it in time for a $1 treat, fresh bakes continue on until 5pm which means you can still swing by after work to score a sweet, buttery post-work treat. While you’re there, put in an order for one of Loulou’s festive hampers - Christmas or NYE - catering for 6-8 people and including an array of Loulou favourites; freshly cooked prawns, Christmas ham, chicken liver paté, chicken ballotine with foie gras, and Buche de Noel are just a few of the dishes included.
