Free Martinis Franca

Sydney’s long-standing darling Franca is stepping into a refined new era, and it’s doing so with a generous twist.

This weekend only, the Potts Point institution is offering free mini martinis to kick things off, giving diners a taste of the restaurant’s reimagined direction before the first plate even lands. It’s a clever nod to the venue’s signature aperitif ritual, now made all the more irresistible.

Since opening in 2019 under the guidance of founder Andrew Becher, Franca has quietly cemented itself as one of Sydney’s most polished dining rooms. Now, with a subtle but meaningful shift, dropping “Brasserie” from its name, the restaurant leans into a more relaxed, Riviera-inspired rhythm. The evolution isn’t dramatic, but it is deliberate: a move toward shared dining, coastal European flavours and a style of hospitality that feels effortlessly in tune with how Sydneysiders actually like to eat.
