Sun-soaked tacos, punchy margaritas and live Afro-Latin beats on the harbour’s edge.
Manly’s West Esplanade has a new reason to linger. Las Palmas is the latest waterfront playground from The Boathouse Group, the team behind some of the Northern Beaches’ most-loved venues. Just steps from the ferry, the open-air garden bar and taqueria channels the laidback energy of coastal Mexico, with palm trees overhead, cocktails in hand and live music carrying the afternoon into night.
Designed as a place to drop in and stay awhile, Las Palmas leans into bold flavours and easygoing fun. Executive Chef Victor Uriegas draws on regional Mexican influences — from Baja to Oaxaca, with a menu built for sharing, grazing and repeat rounds. Behind the bar, tequila and mezcal take centre stage thanks to a collaboration with Pernod Ricard, alongside a custom brew from Balter Brewing Company.
