Hilton Sydney, CBD

The Hilton recently launched its debut Afternoon Tea in their gorgeous Glass Brasserie restaurant. This High Tea takes a modern twist on the classic. The menu, by Executive Chef Hamish Neale, features a selection of sweet and savoury goodies alongside premium tea, coffee, and an adorable cocktail trolley. Crafted by much-loved pastry chef, Adriana Zumbo, QT’s high tea (QTea) is not one to miss! Think of your typical high tea with a modern twist, featuring unforgettable treats like scones with Tasmanian Strawberry & Lemon Myrtle Jam. Estate Vaucluse House, Vaucluse

Situated in Sydney’s iconic Queen Victoria Building, The Tea Room has a Romanesque look about it, offering a High Tea experience for all occasions. They serve everything from classic Devonshire Tea with scones and tea to a luxurious Champagne High Tea with Taittinger. The Tea Cosy, The Rocks CBD

For some legendary scones consider The Tea Cosy in The Rocks. Baked fresh daily, just like how nanna used to make them. This hidden gem is a showcase of a traditional afternoon tea done right. For $30pp, their high tea- fittingly called ‘The Grandstand’- is perfect for two people. For larger groups consider ordering multiple grandstands. Seeking a luxurious high tea experience? Well, the Shangri-La’s High Tea on Level 36 offers breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour. A perfect backdrop for an elegant spot of tea. Gin & Tea, The Fox Hole, The Rocks CBD

If gin is your tea of choice, consider The Fox Hole’s Gin & Tea experience for a unique twist. Located in The Rocks, The Fox Hole exudes a cosy charm reminiscent of a London gin parlour. Available on Saturdays and Sundays, the Gin & Tea experience features a three-tiered stand decorated with treats like finger sandwiches, savoury pastries, scones and sweet pastries. For drinks, there is a wide selection of gin teapots including the Cornish Punch, English Garden, Pimm’s No 1 and Rosemary Lemonade. This indulgent high tea experience will transport you to the heart of Italy. Savour homemade pasticcini (that’s Italian for pastries) and other sweet treats inspired by Italian gastronomy. They offer the classics as well, like finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones. Their standard high tea with your choice of tea and coffee is $80pp, the deluxe high tea is $95pp (offering a glass of Chandon Brut), and their platinum high tea is $165pp (offering a 2.5 hour standard beverage package). The Glasshouse High Tea, The Grounds Alexandria

This Glasshouse is an intimate affair, where 6-8 of your closest friends and family can enjoy a charming high tea experience. It’s enclosed by the rustic frame of an old greenhouse, with lush vines and greenery draping it. Giving you perfect privacy.
